Women’s Legal honours the strength and leadership of First Nations women, whose knowledge and activism continue to shape community, culture, and the safety and wellbeing of women in this country.

We acknowledge the Wongal and Burramattagal peoples as the Traditional Custodians of the land where we are based. As a statewide service, our work takes us across many Aboriginal Nations throughout NSW. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded, and we pay deep respect to Elders past and present, and to all First Nations women who continue to lead their communities with courage and dignity.
